2016 Citroen C1 Exterior and Interior
The 2016 Citroen C1 was developed as part of the B-Zero PSA Peugeot Citroen project in a joint venture with Toyota. The Peugeot 107 is identical to the 2016 Citroen C1 other than the front bumper and front and rear lights, while the Toyota Aygo is slightly different, but as obviously. All are built-in the new facilities of the joint venture TPCA (Toyota Peugeot Citroen Automobile) in the town of Kolin, Czech Republic. The project was presented at the Geneva Motor Show 2005. The cars have four seats, three-door or five-door hatchback measuring 3.40 meters (133.9 inches) long. The body was designed by Donato Coco.
Exterior and Interior
Although last 2016 Citroen C1 has almost identical dimensions to its predecessor is not surprising because it is a model of development of the platform of the previous generation, the company has done a great job to make fun design, cool, completely different sisters Toyota and Peugeot cars. The design of the split of the lighthouse is an interpretation of the same theme found in the Citroen C4 Cactus, while the vertical LED lights are perfectly integrated into the front bumper. The rear tail lamps square 3D effect and a glass tailgate lights are off as distinctive, while the side profile is shared with the Aygo and 108. It is a similar story with interior design; this is replicated on all three cars in the city, except for the badges. Color code located in the center console and shift surround sound velocity and exterior color flashes doors and the option of upholstery seats striped secure inside the 2016 Citroen C1 is light and gay.
The driver sits in front of a newspaper housing a large speedometer dial, while the infotainment and navigation are in a separate “floating” in the middle of the log sheet. It looks good, but the cabin controller layout is intuitive least from the perspective of the driver, for example, the Skoda Citigo. Push and scrape some of the surfaces and is immediately obvious that the quality of the materials are not the height of a Volkswagen up, although the 2016 Citroen C1 has a better finish than ever, and in no way feels an affair. The small Citroen does not feel like a Fest technology inside, but buyers do not expect much at the end of the new car market. Yet there are some highlights, apart from the touch screen and rearview camera (in models of instinct), you can have keyless entry and keyless start, while all versions of the hill 2016 Citroen C1 start assist function. Models of instinct and sentiment are equipped with a seven-inch touch screen designed to mirror the screen of Android smart phones. The problem is as promising as it sounds, the technology does not feel like she has been fully developed yet. The operation interface is not transparent, and can cause some frustration for people who are used to smooth interfaces on tablets and consoles. The MirrorLink function is not compatible with all smart phones, either.
The 2016 Citroen C1 is powered by a three cylinder 1.0 L, which has 61.4 miles per gallon fuel economy (EU method gallons UK, 4.6 l / 100 km in the EU’s approach; ca 43, 4 US mpg with the US method). A 1.4L four-cylinder diesel HDI has 68.9 miles per gallon fuel economy (UK gallons method EU, 4.1 L / 100 km method EU;.. Ca 48.8 mpg US the UU US method) is also available.
